Post amazingly cool pictures of aircraft (Volume 3)

I've seen St Elmo's many times from the flight deck. Pretty sure you need positively (or negatively?) charged clouds hitting the airframe to achieve that though?

Just reading the above linked Wiki on The Kopp–Etchells effect - "The effect is often and incorrectly believed to be an electrical phenomenon, either as a result of static electricity as in St. Elmo's Fire"

And the slowest plane in that line-up was.....?

Although the rumour was that would go a bit faster if you turned the afterburner off.
