Also can anyone tell me what the little silver sail boat is. I saw one last year in a bay and wondered what it is? Looking again it looks very much like a Wally and not the same as last years which was pretty small.

Looks like a Farr 40 to me,

Not a Farr, I've also checked the J+N website as they may have been involved, but no luck.

Somewhere in they back of the old noodle I seem to remember an Italian yard was going to do a yacht, that to me, looked very much like a mini Wally.

Here's the Farr production site from Malaysia.

Bit OT but where abouts were you? I spent 6 months in the north near Santa Teresa in my youth (working in a bar and windsurfingsmile) and I love it there... did you have fun? used to love spending my days off either hopping on a ferry to Bonifacio, going to Porto Cervo or Rotondo to look at the boats... good times! not sure where it all went so wrong!

Andy - We were staying in the hills a mile or two in from the coast near Castelsardo, so much more round from Porto Rafael, quite a drive to get there. Like last years Tiketitoo sight I did get a bit excited seeing this... The 'posh' part where the photo was taken is an incredibly nice part of the world with boats jumping between all the different islands and casually stepping off someone's private beach when I realised it was... Still want to be an Italian as such (lol), but even though I've been to Italy a few time before it only clock how unmannered and mardy they can be this time.

I've found some pictures from last year (Menorca) taken on a Kodak Playsport with a somewhat dirty lens, so excuse the quality. This is the silver boat in question, which I thought was quite similar to this years and would love to know what it is?

Looks like a Cookson 50 to me, but not sure. Could be any number of custom boats - not a Wally.

After finally managing to read the name (Cachou) on the back of the last picture correctly and googlying it, it turns out to be a Sly 42.

No of course not, but it accompanied my previous post with Le Grand Bleu in wanting to know what it was and I thought after managing to find out, I would share as other people had tried to guess.

How many pools? I can count 5 pools ok some are small plunge pools but still though.

I think there are more down the sides as well.

That is pretty special.

Call me old fashioned, but I've always been of the opinion that the water should be outside of the boat.

Thats a nice shot of Le Grande Bleu, she does look tired these days though, Luna is a much better example of that concept although missing the bigger toys
