Got mine today from B&Q
Got it for £110 as the box was damaged and I asked the manager as it was the last one they had.
Box was even more damaged by the time I had put it in the car, they dont really fit in a Z4 Coupe
Now what essentials do I need to buy?

I am shocked B&Q are still the cheapest for the premium. Annoyed that I paid a few quid more when I ordered one elsewhere as a gift a few weeks back.
I reccomend the chimney starter and a decent tool set

Think I also will order the chimney starter Bit of oil on the chicken. Rub on some paprika and salt or whatever you fancy. Light charcoal and put on one side of charcoal grate. Put chicken on cooking grate at opposite side to charcoal. Put foil tray of water on cooking grate. Put wood chips (mesquite in this case) in a bit of foil over charcoal. BBQ temperature was about 400F for about 2 hours or so. I'm very impressed with how well you can control the temperatures with the vents. It's really easy. I've only had it a few weeks and this is the 2nd time I've used it. Compared to the charred meat I used to call a BBQ, this thing is a revelation.

If you want to know how to cook more than just burgers and sausages on the BBQ book yourself in at the Weber Grill Academy outside Oxford, it is very good, i learnt to cook wraps, smoked potato skins and chocolate brownies on gas and charcoal grills http://www.grillacademy.co.uk/

whats the opinion on Masonry BBQ's ? We have very little storage at home, and these seem to be becoming more popular over here. We have friends that live in Spain and when ever we go out there it seems that every home has one, some of them huge and not just the ex Pats but locals too ?

Im not sure I would fork out the extra over a normal one without the knowledge of this thread so I guess a lot of the general public are the same. Im going to order a chimney starter, a wire brush some gloves and few other bits from wowbbq as they seem cheapest and have 20% off at the moment from a voucher code. The beer can attachment looks good

Just got a new premium cover for my 25 year old weber. Wooden handles need a rub down and varnish then hopefully it'll be good to go for many years to come.

So after about 10 years of faithful use I've just upgraded my 47cm boggo Weber to a 57cm Premium. £200 has seemed a bit steep but £129 at B&Q - well you can't leave it on the shelf at that price can you?!  I'm not a BBQ 'geek' but I'm looking to get the right kit and expand my cooking repertoire - I'm looking forward to trying a beer can chicken for example. To that end I also want to get a chimney to make lighting easier, those offset trays and a couple of other bits and pieces. Anyone know the best (cheapest) place to get the accessories? TIA

I know it isn't BBQ weather just yet, but I've just moved house and I now have a garden, so can get a BBQ.
I'm thinking Webber one touch, but is it worth getting the 57cm? There's usually only going to be 2 of us, but we might try BBQing joints of meat etc.
Is now the best time to buy, or should I wait for the sun to come out and see if there are any offers?

Get the larger, you'll never moan about having too much space but you'll be cursing when you need to get a bit extra on there and it won't fit.
It might cost you a bit more to purchase and perhaps you'll burn a bit more coal but it's worth having the space in my opinion.

There have been a few of us smoking and grilling all year long. Get the larger 57cm if you want to smoke as well as grill. Have a look at smoking-meat.com for some tips. have a look at dawsons department stores BBQ section, they are very good and have deals from time to time.
