^ ^ ^ Never understood the appeal of Kimchi, but then again, I guess an entire nation can’t be wrong.
It's a bit Marmitey I suppose - oddly I can't stand Sauerkraut hurl

This is now my favourite Kimchi..............

It’s either Morrisons or Asda that do an almost identical jar of that. Very tasty

Interesting, I've never yet found a shop-bought one that tastes anything like the stuff most Korean restaurants serve. I'm heading to my local Asian supermarket tomorrow, I'll have a look for that.

thumbup Bit pricey but well worth it yum

Edit: Last jar I had was when Wifey went to Brecon and found a place that made their own (not available online) I left it in the cupboard unopened and about a week i heard a weird drip drip drip noise in the kitchen - opened the cupboard and saw a puddle of bubbling liquid on the bottom shelf. The lid was bulging and when I unscrewed the lid it was like Mount Vesuvius erupting yikes I didn't taste it rofl

Grabbed these amongst other things at my local Asian supermarket at lunchtime:

Haven't tried the Shin Ramyun Black before, the other two packets I think I've had previously in one of these variety packs that can be found on Amazon. Never tried the Pho Bo one before, had that at lunchtime - pretty tasty but the noodles are those flat ones, I'm not a big fan of those really. I'd have it again but chop up some spring onions, maybe a chilli etc. and chuck them in as well.

Bottom-left beef ones are nice, picked up a packet recently and will get some more when I can.

Yep agreed. I'll skip them and try some really good anchovy fillets I've found.

Tried the Shin Ramyun Black ones yesterday, have to say I was a bit disappointed compared to the normal ones - then again, I usually put a good dollop of gochujang and another of garlic paste into the regular ones, all I added to the black ones were a couple of chopped spring onions and a beaten egg.

Yay - Starry Mart have the Nissin Roah 30th Anniversary noodles back in. Thought they were a limited edition and permanently gone. One five pack of all flavours of chewy superior noodles and superior seasoning (most liquid or paste) now purchased (along with a load of other stuff).
