Branston Beans, a low heat therefore slow reduction and always in a pan. I cannot emphasise Branston Beans enough. I did say that like Patrick Bateman in my head.
Yep, always Branston, in a pan, low and slow! Beans no longer means Heinz!

It's all they serve at Dorsia. If you can get a reservation, that is.
It's hip to be square ....... plus served with a Pepsi, not a diet coke, lower Sodium content ..... wink

For those of us in the know - fantastic Miles Fisher spoof on Patrick Bateman ....

Back to Breakfast'ing

Last Fridays breakfast in the office (set me up for the drive down to Devon later in the day) Toasted muffin, adorned with 3 fried eggs (runny) and beanage - couple of cheeky hash browns (though they were baked/not fried, so not the best)

Sorry RichB but a your sweeping no green statement eliminates a portion of bubble and squeak. Cabbage is nearly always green. Not something I regularly indulge in but there will always be acceptable “green” within a FEB and therefore, breakfast.

Bubble does need to be fried in lard though and sneak some onion in.

Is that 'gritz' on the plate? (memories of Joe Pesci in 'My Cousin Vinny')
