It was 80's rock in the car today and from the album Rising Force by Yngwie Malmstein came track number 6.A real old school rock bruiser called 'As Above. So Below.'
First three lines:
There's a hole in the sky But don't ask me why Because I don't know
At which point I'm afraid I laughed and changed the track, but it did get me thinking.
Any other awful opening lines spring to mind?

Not sure whether this is classed as rock, but the way they shoe-horn this line into the song always amuses:
"....As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti..."

Anything mid 80's KISS written by Gene Simmons - well anything by him really! "Cause when I go through her, it's just like a hot knife through butter, ooh yeah"

Bon Jovi.
Arrange these phrases in order of your preference:
It's all right In this hard life Down this open road Not afraid to fight Gotta hold on Look in these eyes This feeling inside Can't go back It's my life Get back on track
Repeat 11 times, release new album. Job's a good 'un.

Rainbow, All Night Long:
"I saw you standing there by the stage Your black stockings and your see-through dress You mouth is open but I don't want to hear you say good night You're sorta young but you're overage I don't care cos I like your style Don't know about your brain but you look alright"
Hilariously sexist.

Coming to me in the morning, leaving me at night. Coming to me in the morning, leaving me alone. You've got that rainbow feel but the rainbow has a beard.
Running to me a-cryin' when he throws you out. Running to me a-cryin', on your own again. You've got that pure feel, such good responses, But the picture has a mustache.

Shudder, by Psyched Up Janis.
Great song, just don't pay too much attention to what they're saying:
Don't you want to shudder I guess it's okay Dont you want to be wrapped in summer's arms Don't you want to drift in the sidestreets' glow Dont you want to drink her squeal of joy
Experimental summer you better not die Summer-tidal-visions you better not hide Verdant fields my sadness you better not leave The grass will make you shudder you better not die
Don't you want to see her She makes a good friend Don't you want to be here before Summer ends!
Repeat bits and pieces for another two minutes or so

Terrible and just plain annoying: "Some people call me the Space Cowboy, some call me the Gangster of Love [Yeah - OK, I'm sort of with you so far......] Some call me Maurice, 'cos I speak of the pompatus of love..." [Doh!  }

Master of things. Master of light. Songs cast alight on you. All pure chance. Hark thru dark ties. As exists cross divided. That tunnel us out of sane existence. In all encircling mode. In challenge as direct. Oh closely guided plan. As eyes see young stars assemble.
I win. Love the song, don't have a scooby what he's on about.
