Rollin said: Brings back some pretty bad memories of Saturday that pic does, a group of 6 lads stripped off and had piggy back wars... why was there this urge for people to take their clothes off in the rain?!

We did see a fair few people being hoisted over the barriers into the arms of the waiting paramedics who had obviously been on it all day and were unlucky/stupid enough to have chucked a whitey as the night wore on - the fans, not the paramedics! Each one accompanied by cheers from the crowd.

The drinks situation was very poor, especially in comparision to the Oasis gig there a few years ago, in fact the whole set up was poor compared to that night, but when Liam popped out the old classics, and then the stunning set from the Roses you pretty much forgot about it all. I wish we'd tried to bring some drinks in as the checking was non existent, the guy next to us with a wine box bladder taped to his gut was inspired, and funny when he ripped off the gaffer tape that was holding it on. The usual nightmare trying to get back to the hotel as it was about 5 miles away, but after a bit of a walk and a few mini cab drivers chancing their luck with silly quotes we got back and partied in the hotel bar for a bit more as just about everyone staying there had been to the gig, all in all top night.

I heard about the poor beer situation so tried to take a bottle of vodka in with me down my scock but got it taken off me :-( Only had to cue for 10 min to get a beer anyway when we got in.
Didn't see any trouble at all just loads of people having a good time i didn't even get covered in piss which was good as I was right at the front. What a cracking day out best gig ive ever been to.

We went lastnight, AMAZING. Not a hint of trouble, everybody was good natured and just out for a good time. Didn't bother with the beer tent as was fairly well oiled from a full day on the pop anyway. Some girls next to us were good enough so share their wine with us The ground was fairly dry where we were and didn't see any piss being thrown about, susprised at that part, thought we'd get drenched! Only slight negative was trying to get back in to town, ended up getting seperated and managed to get the bus (£5). Had no idea where it was going to so pretty lucky! Mate managed to get a taxi - £20 each and 4 in a taxi. I can't imagine a better gig than that and am really chuffed I can remember it all. Today I have suffered though!

Went on Sunday night....23 years I'd waited for that and it was worth every second!
Didn't see any trouble at all, in fact quite the opposite...only took us 10 minutes to get beers although it was a tad muddy...as for the toilets; the official unofficial toilet next to the wheely bins @ the VIP area were just fine! :-0
We were also lucky enough to persuade a mini cab to pick us up from the street (£20 up front money well spent!)...

Epic show in Dublin on Thursday. No trouble, great weather and a fab atmosphere.
Beer situation was poor and the bars closed at 10pm but I'd managed to sneak a wee half-bottle in with me.
No encore unfortunately as they didn't finish until nearly 11:30 but it was nice to see Ian and Reni giving each other a bit of love at the end.
All told, mighty. Ian's singing seemed spot-on to me and seeing Reni bang the drums really was something else! John's guitar playing seemed to have a much harder, more 'rocky' edge to it which was okay by me but Mani seemed a bit subdued. Could have been a sound issue on the night or maybe a few years with Primal Scream has reigned him back a bit!
Great night and well worth the travel(I live in Scotland).
