Really? Watched Ep1 The only thing I laughed at was the vanity card. I wasn't going to bother with Ep2 but with the reaction here I might now go for it.

Episode 1 felt more like the Fast Show, with set-up, punchline, cut to next scene, set-up, punchline, cut to next scene, etc., just didn't seem to flow as well as earlier shows. Episode 2 was much better but it still felt like Penny and Leonard were just phoning their parts in without too much effort put into them.

This show is a victim of it's own success now. I think people expect it to be amazing all the time.

I try and enjoy it for what it is each episode and enjoy the underlying story.

The correct reply is only Douglas can answer that and as he is no longer with us so I guess we'll never find out if it was Eddie's sofa.

NO! Goes to Sky and appears on one channel, after a couple of months get moved to another 'new' channel and before you know it it finishes up on some backwater forgotten PPV crap with zillions of adverts.

A really good episode this week (S08E04) - Genuine humour all the way through. Seeing Emily was a definite bonus.

Penny's short hair is growing on me, although she's looking less "hot" but that seems to be her growing up/moving in to her new job.
