Indeed. Anyone would think that we haven't already seen these pictures.

Or have them blown up, laminated and pinned to the ceiling above our beds....

Anywayyy...

Too early in the series to say if its not funny anymore. It does seem to have become much more serious recently but lets face it people do grow up and start to have more important problems. Lets hope they can keep it funny without having to go the Friends route of one serious episode and then brush all the issues of how do they afford all the fantastic stuff/apartments under the carpet again.

Plus all of the funny stuff seems to cropping up on the other sitcom from the Chuck Lorre stable. This is now on its last season and the writers clearly no longer give a crap with in-jokes about Sheen, breaking the third wall & even more exploring the limits of what can you do on American TV with regard to downright sexual perversion.

The episode recently where Herb went off the rails was a classic,
"We're way beyond party time, welcome to The Freak Show!"

But no, Pennys new hair doesn't suit her.

The other problem with long running comedies is that the good writers go off and work on other shows, leaving the original show ticking over with random writers, slowly losing viewers (as surely no-one starts watching after 8 seasons) but still turning a profit.

Latest US one? Yes, I really enjoyed it too, I don't know who the special guest (or even if he was special) but he did his role very well.
The whole season so far just seems very up and down which is obviously frustrating to watch sometimes!

Pretty famous Hollywood actor

Agreed - Billy Bob was good in it, but a pretty humorless 23 minutes frown

Penny seems to be adjusting her attire towards that of Amy's by covering up a lot. Boooooo....

Mrs. Pak and I enjoyed it, best one of this season so far imo.

Not as good as last week but milestone moment for Sheldon, should make for an interesting storyline in the future

Enjoyed this weeks episode, it was a nice balance between humour and relationship stuff.

I loved the heckling from Raj at the baseball ground. The bromance is over.

The three posts above are talking about two different episodes in series 8.

Anyone watching on terrestrial needs to look out for spoilers.

The heckling episode was a good one - the new US one was better this week too.

I enjoyed the interplay in the limo - penny looked good - and Sheldon, well, I genuinely didn't see that coming...

Agree about the latest US episode. Not exactly laugh a minute, but genuine interactions, instead of all this tiresome in fighting they seem so keen on. Interesting to see how it pans out.

I'll be honest, I'm almost worried/scared/intrigued to see where it's going with Stuart - that interests me more than anything at the moment hehe

Same here. It's a tricky storyline to play for laughs. I'm intrigued how far they'll push it. I'm just hoping it's not a running gag for the next 3 seasons.

Guys! Can we please put spoiler tags on discussions of episodes not yet on UK TV - It can't be that hard to do, can it?

Apologies - thought I was being vague enough.

What you'll see in the latest episode is Howard's Mum!
