It appears that Elizabeth Fritzl attended court this morning in Austria having eaten a full cooked breakfast.

Although somebody should have told her she still had Daddies Sauce round her mouth and down her top.
Do Panasonic manufacture Wrongometers?

rofl

Are any of the family attending the court?

If the kids have to give evidence what would they address him as?

Daddy or Grandad?

Does anyone else think that when Josef Fritzl finally enters his cell he is going to think, "Mines way better...."

Will be detained indefinitely for psychiatric examination I think - its the only way I think of keeping him in much longer.

At least he'll have plenty of time to make improvements.

We may also start to see him pop up on Rics "Grand Designs" threads.

It happened in another country.
It isn't really relevant to us here.
It has no international significance.

Was it made the lead item just because of the salacious content of the story, I wonder?
Because its one of those "wtf" stories that is absolutely incredulous in a very macabre way.

I can't believe he only faces 20 years in prison if found guilty. You'd get that for overzealous use of a 911 in this country.
He's 73. In 20 years he'll be 93 if he hasn't died of old age first.

How long a sentence do you think he should have?

I've never understood the concept of consecutive terms and concurrent terms? Why the difference? (I understand the words before someone gets the definition for me).

Surely, if he raped her 3,000 times you just have consecutive terms and thats him dealt with.

Josef Fritzl sat in court today with a blue binder in front of his face.

Obviously waiting for his daughter to arrive so he could shout "SURPRISE".

I'm disappointed that someone voted for "He's one step up from a caravanner'.

Just because the option was there, didn't mean you had to use it.

I'm hurt.

ETA: Worryingly, some of you have his book hehe

I voted that, as quite frankly it was the funniest one. Not that what he did was funny.

Personally I think 60 years of daily electric shock treatment would be too good for him.

On a slightly more serious note, I wonder what condition his children/grandchild are in. I would have though that genetically they'd be a little screwed.

What do you think he has in that binder?

Nude shots of her? Wedding snaps? Family holiday snaps?

He's crying behind it.
