I just saw 5-7 people on each side of the road waiting to cross. I was under the impression if people were waiting at a zebra crossing then they have right of way and vehicles have to stop, but until someone stepped out not a single car, bus or van stopped to let anyone cross.

Its because all trhey are going to do is f
k about in the middle of the road. Everyone using that road knows this.Not saying its right, just how it is.
