It's not broad enough to keep you extra-warm and tends to fall off as soon as anyone gets in the bed anyway. What's it supposed to do? Look pretty, I think. Pile of nonsense. The ones Holiday Inn use are huge on the double beds and a proper pain in the arse, they always end up bundled up and dumped in a corner. Wish they'd stop doing it, it must be a massive waste of money too. Might possibly also protect bed from shoes if someone lies on the bed fully dressed, but who on earth does that? It's not a protector for when you put your case/bags on it whilst unpacking is it? Have seen these before on cruise ships. No, it's just girly decoration. The bed in the "boutique" hotel I stayed in recently had one on, and four completely unnecessary cushions too. Seriously, hotel people, I know you're trying to make stuff look nice, but I just want to get into bed. I don't want to have to remove half the window display from BHS before I do so. Oh, and while I'm at it, is it really necessary to tuck the top sheets in so tight that it feels like you're getting into a manilla envelope to sleep?

Anyone know what forum software the netmums site runs on/whether it's one of the proprietary brands, or whether it's entirely bespoke?

I appreciate I may be asking the wrong people here, but I've always wondered why they do padded bras for larger cup sizes.

Nice one Carthage. Sorry, CW7. I was just shopping online, and it was one of those questions that arose as I noticed that even the DD+ bras seem to be padded. (I didn't know he had 'ishoos'. )

Tis hard to shop for DD+ sizes on the high street, unfortunately. Although, who needs padding?

Why is it that when a female PHer mentions boobs, or bras, PH goes into seething frenzy?
