Snails said: I ask as at bang on 9am the neighbours children were outside and all they have done since they got outside is scream. They do that. 9am is eminently reasonable, they've probably been cooped up indoors until then for a couple of hours by their parents making an effort to be considerate until a reasonable hour. At least now they can shag free from possible interruption and can hear where the kids are at all times. Snails said: There must be a point at which the general population sort of expect to hear children outside? In the middle of the summer holidays when it's daylight by 6am - any time from then onwards really, but I'd hope the parents could keep a lid on them until 8ish.

I did wonder that. How lucky are you feeling?

Stuck In A Lift said: Sounds like you are settling in well at your new place. To be fair it seems to be just these ones, we had a massive street party for the jubilee and they were the only ones not to turn up, a couple of people have commented that they aren't sociable or neighbourly at all

We live next to a big park and surprisingly don't have much of a problem. Any screaming usually comes from teenage girls in the evening. That I really wish would stop. For their own good as much as anything else. If they actually had something to scream about I'd probably not bother to even look out the window now.
