Just back from a nice run, via some bluebell woods.
Stopped to take in the view, before running back home!
Don’t usually stop, but was spectacular.

A little lamb gambling in the field with black bits on its face and legs like little socks. Very sweet. When I say gambling it was jumping around not on Bet 365.

For the first time in a month I could have a weekday lie in as there were no builders here at 8am to do something connected to our bathroom refurbishment.

I'm trying not to sound like the internet grammar police, but gambolling then, not gambling.

Scents of humor failure?

I have worked with/managed a serial piss taker for 8 years who for the last 2 years has basically been paid to sit on his arse at home playing every card he can imagine while I did his job.

Today he finally left/quit/fked off and it is joyous.

Productive day working from home.

Had an online job interview at 5pm, which was a great conversation. Let’s see if I get through to round 4….

Daughter went to the dance studio for an hour, so I got to chant with Mrs OMITN while we bought some food. Then we all cooked together when back home.

Drank a beer called Saturday Lager - a day early. What the hell.

Watched Wigan beat Castleford (again - after last week’s thrashing dished out in the Challenge Cup quarter final).

We’re all chatting and listening to our daughter’s music while the PGA golf from RBC Heritage in South Carolina is on silent on the TV. A beautifully relaxing sensory overload.

It’s the weekend people. Enjoy it!

Great ride on the motorbike today from Glasgow to Sheffield, with lots of lambs in the countryside!

Wife’s niece announced she is pregnant. Niece is unfortunately not talking to her brother whose wife is also pregnant.

Wife is over the moon at moon at becoming great Aunt twice over within two weeks in late August.

If niece and nephew are reading this FFS get over yourselves and pick up up the phone while you breed cousins.

And breathe.

First time I've seen the sunrise for a while this morning. Seems like it has rained for a month here.

Here as well (Oban) rain, high winds, cold winds. Finally sunny yesterday and the field next to us has some fresh lambs. The first batch have been sheltering behind our hedge, looked up at me a few days ago with a look that said "is this it?"

Sitting on a ledge having a laugh with old mates. It was better on Saturday when the sun came out and we just sat and had a chat (about how much we enjoyed sitting on ledges having a laugh with mates. biggrin)

The hot and spicy ones? The crisps equivalent to crack! I've had to stop buying share bags

Here’s one for Eric.

I honestly didn’t know which thread suited this best, but I decided it made me happy, so here goes.

Nicked from the Dull Men’s Club on Facebook.

I was in some crafting shop with my wife yesterday, buying tat for my son's aforementioned birthday and to my surprise they had two aisles of airfix, tamiya models/paints etc

I commented then that I didn't need any of the models, I would be quite happy just having all of the boxes on a shelf in my office.

Good on him for making 100 smile
