Walking through the work carpark, towards a gathering of younger interns/juniors huddled around an old E39. As I get nearer to the group I pass someone else I didn't know walking the other way and I hear them mutter, "Ooh look at my sh!tty old diesel Beemer."

It made me laugh out loud, despite being on my own.

Being treated by the Mrs to two bags of wotsit crunchies! She went to about 5 shops to find them, normally if I ask for something I get moaned at!
The hot and spicy ones? The crisps equivalent to crack! I've had to stop buying share bags
Sorry no just the cheesy ones! Bit of a lightweight when it comes to spice, struggle with a butter chicken curry!

Sitting on a ledge having a laugh with old mates. It was better on Saturday when the sun came out and we just sat and had a chat (about how much we enjoyed sitting on ledges having a laugh with mates. biggrin)

Looks familiar- Tryfan?

Nice! Great fun in winter mixed conditions. My first lead was a multi-pitch up the middle of the Idawal slabs just round the corner. Scared myself silly! I think the climbs are Faith, Hope and Charity.

Picked up a new (to me) MX5 ND2 today.

I last owned and loved a MX5 (factory approved 1990 bbr turbo) in 1997 and I haven't driven one since.

I bought this one blind but within 5 minutes I was smitten. I listened to 90's indie the entire 4 hour drive home smile

Ordered a new bike (Honda CBR600RR). Long wait as won’t pick it up until September.

This afternoon - A drive up from the Sussex coast, through Battle, Amberstone and Upper Dicker to Lewes. Then from Lewes, via the Kingston Road/Piddinghoe Road, to Newhaven. Then back through Seaford, Beachy Head Road and Eastbourne. Home by 5pm for a bottle of Rioja.

Yesterday (Saturday) daughter placed in all of the four the solo routines she entered in the dance festival, with one first place receiving an incredibly high mark and the judge saying she was “in awe”. Which is as good as it gets in the dance world!

We’re back again today, so hoping for more of the same.

Seeing first hand, the energy, generosity and enthusiasm of the people of Georgia in rejecting the Russian Law being introduced in their parliament.

Although they feel somewhat helpless, they don't feel they need to be silent or aren't able to make themselves heard.

My grandkids, 11 and 5, helped me choose this year’s bedding plants at the garden centre on Sunday, and then put them all in for me. And a good job of it they did too. They also found time to collect some seriously big earthworms.
