You've got far too much bloody money then. F**K me, over £200 for a pair of bloody shorts...
M1k3 can spend his money how we wishes but tbf i think around 200 for some, if im not mistaken, shorts made to measure is actually pretty good.

We all have different prices for what we can justify/what somethings worth.

Great example. You could cancel your bmw i4 and order a polestar 2 instead which are both rather expensive and get a dacia sandero instead for a measly 13k....you've got far too much money F**k me my car cost £1350 wink

Yep, £200ish seems more than reasonable for made to measure, I’m fairly sure my off the peg Stone Island and P&S ones will cost more than that. It’s all relative smile although I do usually like to wait for sales before buying most of my stuff lol

Absolutely this.

I mean they are well out of my comfort zone but I would far rather pay £200 for some with some value in them than some off the peg fashion stuff which just has a brand on them.

Diadora have one pair left of these in my size. I can get 20% off which takes them to just under £200.

Still a big chunk of change for a pair of shoes I don't need! scratchchin

Just don’t tell ThomW biglaugh

Hmm. Is there a website where I can see his fabric options? Many moons ago I had a pair of grey herringbone jeans and now I’m minded to get a pair made..

Struggling not to comment re: denim shorts, have we had *that* pic posted yet?
All via social media.

The chap running the company super responsive and I have had items delivered already on some items I have ordered so seems relatively legit.

Be careful, he will do a runner like MDMA after basically saying a pair of my trainers were fake. biglaugh

As you correctly say, we justify costs in our own ways. I live in shorts over 300 days of the year, I will get my monies worth out of them.

Another point, I quite enjoy supporting small businesses, I do know what it is like to start a business from scratch and how tough it can be.

Ooh, you clicked on my profile. Clever girl.

My point wasn’t actually £200, it was spending over £1000 on shorts. That’s mental to me. But hey, I’m just some dumbass who prioritises paying off my mortgage and being debt free in 3yrs time.

Initially I thought that seemed a lot but if they're made to measure that isn't bad at all. I certainly couldn't afford 5 pairs, but 1 is doable. Thanks for the response.

Thats what you said and theres no need to be patronising, the comment was only a bit of jest because it was a great example of the point i made.driving a car i couldnt buy outright is mental to me but lets not start arguing, being nasty or stating our circumstances and priorities. Were a friendly group here and it would be a shame for that to change, im sorry if my comment didnt come across that well.

Just because you can’t afford something, it doesn’t mean other can’t or that it’s not good value.

He could be buying these, 1 pair, off the peg, for more money. Please let’s not be judgemental of others.

Ryy's point was perfectly reasonable, imo - and illustrates the difference in perception.

Whilst that's good, you're losing the spare capacity in the middle.

Life you were to put telescoping racks in then you could get the full volume, and more sneaks! biggrin

Counting someone else’s money is an odd pursuit though. It’s a bit like going on the supercar forum and questioning why people spend that much on a car. You’ve also assumed that m1k3 has debts and a mortgage.

Anyway I’m going trainer shopping, back later!

How many pairs and what’s the overall dimension of the cupboard?

I still haven’t got round to making mine. Bought the doors at least!

I would guess about 1M wide about 1.5ft in depth.

24 pairs inside
