May as well start this now as the weather looks like it's turning considerably colder in the next couple of days.....

I've noticed that around here (oop North...) there's loads of berries in the hedgerows. Some of the rosehips are enormous, in fact.

My old Gran would have said that it's going to be a long hard winter. frown

Well I'll join in.

Being on the Fylde coast means mild grey and wet with occasional gales will be the order of the day for winter here.

I can't be bothered to fit my winter tyres this year.

Will that improve the chances of snow? Happy to take one for the team here, lads...

I suppose I best be here for the Snowlercoaster, would be rude not to. Feeling definitely autumnal in west berks now.

Fingers crossed for a hard winter….. bring on the snow.
Sadly on the south east coast and haven’t seen a proper frost for years.

Frosty in County Durham this morning. The hedgerows seem to have quite a lot of berries in them too. So fingers crossed for a reet snowy winter.

There's murmuring in our NE Suffolk village that as the berry/rosehip/hedgerow stuff is in abundance this year then we're in for a freezing winter.....

That's not all!

The tyre changer in my local garage told me that his mother said that we will have snow this winter.

That's SCIENCE, that is!

yes

Can’t say fairer than that! However I’ve booked to go skiing in March, so it will be 25° and sunny all winter.

Currently a chilly 2 degrees in Glasgow, but looking like a bluebird, so perfect.
