Lovely at times today, sun, t-shirts etc but looking at the forecast for tomorrow it's not so easy to be optimistic...

Ooh! I'm down in London on Monday. I shall take flip flops.
I'm under the southernmost large numeral saying "10" in Devon.

Charitably, I hope your left flip-flop get stuck on "flop", and the right one gets stuck on "flip".

What you fail to mention is that it's not a lake they are sailing on, it's your back garden after the overnight rain smile

Santa Pod Raceway had their easter event ( start of the Drag racing season) moved from easter to this weekend,
because on easter the ground was so logged up that no spectator parking / racer pitting on grass was possible.

I watched the live pics on YouTube and for two days they were lucky-ish, max 10°C with lots of wind and cloud cover.
Last night the rain front came and lasted to this noon, all racing called off, sunday ticket holders urged not to travel.
Bugger Bugger Bugger. Guess the local farmers will get hired to pull campers & race transporters off the site.

Some racers still put down numbers on a very cold track, Nostalgia Funny Car @250mph and Super Street Bike @ 230 mph.

I hope that end of May it is a lot warmer as I will be sleeping in a tent for the start of Euro Championships.

I guess many "open air" event organizers - motorsport and others- will be heavily affected by this "spring".

Sun is out, in our sheltered garden it was divine. End of the ridiculous cold spell is here.

It's not single digit highs we've had last couple of days so it will do.

Ages since I've been to Santa Pod, great place. Always came away sunburned.
