I do and they block out most noise.Take a holiday.Take up running.Move. Actually with sleeping I now sleep to the radio so there is always noises, that way the unexpected noises are less likely to wake me! Having a good day today, maybe as I'm trying to be more aware of it and stopping myself for getting wound up - I'd sooner sort myself out than get drugs! In regards to the masturbation suggestion earlier, I'm sure there is a link to anger in men. Good to hear you are having a better day today. I think the radio idea is interesting. I will have to put it to the other half who has to put up with me at the moment. Goldblum - I have got a little stash of earplugs at work, so will give them a try too. I like my house, and before this inconsiderate neighbour, who doesnt have a job, and sleeps all day, so is up all night smoking moved in, everything was as perfect as can be. Couldnt have been happier. Although he is still waking me early in the morning, its better than what he used to be doing which was coming out each hour throughout the night from 10pm up until 6am. That really was bad. It's such a shame that one thing (an annoying bloke) can have such a negative effect on where you live. That and everything else with work, plus planning a wedding which seems to be getting close way too fast, not having had a holiday for a while and in desperate need of one. Got a short break in cornwall coming up in 2 weeks time, so hopefully that will help. In the mean time: Woooosah

You need to address the issue rather than try to mask it. I've just expelled my anger in the gym training my legs into submission! I always feel so much better after leg training!

Peaks and troughs, I'm actually in a calm enough state to go over three year's of love notes from an ex that I have had sitting in a drawer for too long!
Tomorrow I'll get cut up and ram someone.

I'm working out. I'm watching what I eat. I'm not sleeping too badly. I'm using Kalms occasionally. I'm still a all the time, what the hell is wrong with me? How long does it take for nicotine addiction to leave me? I don't want a smoke, yet I'm full of rage, all the time. It's affecting home, work, driving, my mates, the lot. Doctor time??

I've not tried losing the coffee and tea yet, no. But how can a British man function without tea?? I'll try binning the coffee tomorrow.

You could try decaffeinated tea - it is readily available in shops.

I've been off the coffee today, and it has helped. I don't know what else was different, but I've been "better" today. Unless it is just a good day

Get rid of stupid people too.Stupid people make me angry, stupid people doing stupid things make me very angry. I can't tolerate stupidity,I will visibly sigh, roll my eyes and mutter oh f king god help me. Lazy people make me mad too, moaning lazy people even more so. I used to be very angry a lot and it cost me a lot of money over the years tbh smashing things. I dont smash things anymore although I do still have a fondness for throwing some things down the garden with a satisfying f k it. I make a concious effort to be calmer these days, although I spent all last night seething after finding out one of my managers made a failed attempt to stitch my shifts up. Obviously no idea I would kill him and leave him in a ditch,or perhaps throw him down the garden lol.

Are you sure there are no underlying problems causing you stress? This is where my anger stems from. I drink lightly once or twice a month, don't smoke and don't drink coffee or tea.
Do you find you aggressively over react to situations? I've been in a stressful job for a number of years and although I think I'm handling it, the slightest incident results in me losing it!
Latest victim was my sat-nav, it put me in the wrong lane and put me 15 miles out of my way, I completely blew up, punched it and completely knackered it! It sounds funny now, but I feel so ashamed that I react in a thuggish way to something so trivial.

I am almost certain that it is work related, not being able to switch off enough. I think I need to buy a fun car again, that would fix it

Rickyy said: I was once a care free, easy going person. Over the last few years the smallest things have tipped me over the edge.
I've destroyed two strimmers, a lawnmower, an ill-placed garden wall clock, punched holes in a door and bookcase (I'm not hard, they were very cheap!).
I blame this on the stress of work (long story). I kept it bottled up and it ultimately led to me becoming depressed.
If there are any underlying factors which you think may be causing this deal with them ASAP! Before it affects the people around you, I've snapped at my girlfriend for the most trivial of things and gone on rampages. I instantly feel ashamed and angry at myself as soon as the red mist has vanished.
Speak to your GP if you are worried. Ricky......I've just cried with laughter reading this. You may be an angry f ker, but you're very funny too.....you really should be a comedian!
