How does one go about getting TRT? My doctor's couldn't be less interested. I have been suffering all sorts of symptoms of low testosterone so finally did a test through Optimale (2 tests to be sure). It's way lower than it should be. I think it's even causing me recovering from 2 back surgeries last year.
See a specialist at a private clinic. Ideally an endocrinology expert specialising in TRT / male reproductive disorders. It will cost you but it will be difficult to get treatment via normal NHS routes. The male menopause, for want of a better phrase, isn't regarded as anything important - even though it certainly is..

Must admit that I hadn’t heard or SARMS before.

I saw the same article this morning on BBC news, was interesting reading but not tempted to touch them myself or anything like them, I've watched videos of a number of fitness influencers talk about the reality of Performance Enhancing Drugs and while the results do look impressive I believe once you are on that train you are pretty much on it for life one way or another.

I've got a fairly good idea where I could get them from if I wanted to, there's a couple of sports nutrition stores in the city I live that I use and if I asked the right questions they would assist but just doesn't interest me personally.

Loads of the lads at the gym are on SARMS they actually give a decent return on muscle tissue, however there hasn't been any long term studies on their safety as far as I'm aware, probably safer to to do a low dose anobolic/gh if you're that way inclined, personally not much beats nailing sleep nutrition and stress levels for long term gain and health.

Carrying from the Mentzer vignette, I took 5 days off as I'd been training quite bit for the last 6 weeks, went back in today to do shoulders and remembered to do those partials when you run out of full ROM steam, but the lack of a partner did show itself on shoulder press as you can't do them alone, although as I was in the smith machine I could have set the bar above that failure point and carried on so I'll try that next time.

That's how I'm training just now. It has made me really sore this week but then, ive hardly tained in the last few months. Ive got bloody parkrun tomorrow as well, but needs must!

At least. Some on GH as well. Don't forget these celebrities will also spend a fortune on health tests, blood panels, training experts, heart experts and nutritionists. Not to mention plastic surgery. When someone reaches nearly eighty and looks about 60 (ie Stallone) there's a danger they become a freak show.

Is it GH they're on? I must read more about it.

I work in medicine development, I've become quite fascinated by all the drug use since realising how mainstream it is.

Watch Jeff Cavaliere talking about it in his latest video on AthleanX. Drugs shouldn't be normalised.

Jeff says he doesn't know Joe and has never met him, and knows nothing about his cause of death. Then goes on a rant about steroids and TRT. In fairness there's a lot of it about, and that's the nature of competition - wanting to be the best. Drugs have always been used to in sport to get an edge - Greeks ate bull's testicles in that belief. Joe had an aneurysm BTW. Very sad and likely to be genetic.

Stallone was convicted in 2007 of importing GH into Australia. Some say GH is the way to stay young for longer, rather than test. I think probably anyone with decent lean mass in their 70s who looks in their 60s is on GH as anabolic androgenic steroids actually make you look older... .

If he was on gear(?) I’d say it does make him a bit of a charlatan?

But of course, they’re all on it…

Why would someone like Joe be a 'charlatan'? In what way do you feel he deceived you?

Well, if he was on gear, but not revealed he was, then I’m sure he loosely fits the term.

I don't think he's deceived you in any way if that's the criteria you're using. If he said he wasn't on gear but actually was then you may have a case IMO...What about Jeff? Do you feel deceived by him? Rumours have abounded for some time, notwithstanding his 'fake weight' episode. But he hasn't said either way so presumably you feel cheated by him in as well?

As an aside i quite like Jeff, I didn't really know of Joe until his untimely passing.

No, I’d say Jeff was clean, and (probably) as big as you’ll get naturally.

He’s also where I got my much maligned training method from biggrin

Going back to another earlier argument, he’ll also tell you that resting too long between sets will hurt your gains in growth.
