MacGee said: Sorry but mist of that is not in my vocabulary! An explanation of each one would help! Tx You should be able to search for them all on YT. The knee raises is just running on the spot but making sure the knees go as high as you can so you're not just doing a poor impersonation of River Dance.

Just set my watch to go off every minute and see how many sets of 10 I can do as soon as the countdown timer hit 60s. 5 sets and I can barely pull myself up now. Normally, I can manage 6x10 with 2-3 minutes of rest between each set.

Did squats on Thursday for the first time in 2 weeks. Woke up this morning and I'm struggling to walk my legs are so stiff.

Sodded off the last bit of my stuff. Another attempted 2000m and another failure. So did 30m20s rowing. Then the Heavy Bag routine, then the KB circuit in a respectable 19:56 and then sodded it off. Felt utterly fracked on the way home.

Can't skip won't skip. It causes much merriment amongst onlookers. I hate the fracking skipping rope.

Quick question about HIIT/tabata... is it ok to do 30 minutes a day or should I be resting every other day? Current goal is to continue reducing bodyfat percentage.
Ta!

Ta! 30 minutes a day will be fine, especially if your goal is fat loss rather than performance increase.

A few of us from our crew at the rowing club went for an impromptu 10k run. I'd not brought my proper trainers and have not run since school! Then we did a couple of 2k rows up and down the river... On waking up this morning it appears I am now crippled

Halb said: I like the way that's written, if a bit American. All those lifts do look like a bit of fun, except for that las twisty deadlift - not sure I'd be happy doing that with any kind of load.

18" deads (loads of singles), Squat lockouts (up to 2x 340kg) and CG bench today (loads of doubles at 120kg).
Inspired to train harder, heavier, and with less rest recently, completely fresh approach and training plan. Also eating more, especially protein.
