No longer a standard colour but available to order at 1.5k .. which is not that unreasonable. you think??? £1,500 to paint a car in a different colour? reasonable? no way! they have to paint them in something, it's bad enough ripping you off for 'metallic' paint, but this is just taking the piss.... burnt orange I think, was a £2k cost option on 11 cars .. so it has got cheaper

FWIW, my new Discovery was £700 cheaper in white, which made my mind up for me, but I did then spend the best part of £500 having the wheels painted black !

Agree on evora being huge second hand bargain. Just picked one up from jct Leeds 1 year old, 3000 miles, lotus management owned prior to this....effectively brand new...they wanted high thirties but got for less than mid thirties on a car with tech pack, spor pack, power mirrors, reverse cam and rear seats I.e over 7k worth of extras. Great dealership too...have had elises off them too. What a car for the money...could have dropped this sort of amount on a new vauxhall or non descript Beemer or ten a penny c class mercedes.

Great job Lotus. I have owned 5 Lotii so far, including a couple of Esprits and a super quick 7, but this new Exige looks a country mile better. Love the idea of having decent electronics on the car having worked with systems for so long.
