Messi scored another free-kick last night (don’t think him being potentially one of the greatest free-kick takers ever is spoken about enough).

A bit of a crazy stat - Messi is the one who has scored Argentina’s last free-kick, Inter Miami’s last free-kick, PSG’s last free-kick AND Barcelona’s last free-kick. (Technically Raphinha has against Arsenal but that was a friendly).

Yep one of the best of his generation, but not of all time. You can’t compare players from different eras because football in the 60/70s is completely different to football today. How can you compare Messi to say Maradona, Pele or Best?

They're averaging 3 goals a game when he plays.

With the dearth of quality in the prem at the moment it's even more hilarious to think he wouldn't be able to do it in the PL.
