Was your "olish" barber stoned? Russia day is a celebration of events that marked the end of the Soviet era that lead to Russia becoming democratic (although I use that as loosely as possible).
I can see the Polaks getting annoyed if the Ruskies were strolling around with Communist flags etc as they really have bad feelings about what happened. Russia basically occupied them for about 100 years and then again at the end of WW2.
One side of my family are Polish and Lithuanian, Russia is a touchy subject.

You can't see this ending 11 a side. Someone's going to get het up or simply get two late tackles in.... if Poland score it'll go nuts, and they sure as hell look fired up for this.... if the Russians get it, I wouldn't like to be a steward...
