There's no sound in the pub and my eyesight is comparable to Arsene Wengers during a contentious decision, can someone elaborate on why Cech didn't catch that?

As the commentator said Cech has fairy liquid on his gloves... it just slipped through. Looked at the defend and turf as though either of those were to blame but he just didn't catch it lol

Most likely (it's happened to me before), took his eye off the ball for a split second looking for where his distribution was going to go, hadn't formed his hands properly and went straight through.

That howler from Petr Cech only adds to my ongoing bewilderment as to how Chelsea won the Champions League

Why did I choose Cech for my Dream Team? This made me giggle a bit too much earlier: "The Greek back 4 was in danger of having 28 syllables."

Two of the Founder Members of the Strikers' Union..... they were decent enough goals, BUT, he wouldn't have scroed either with competent defending. And that's what has improved in the last 30 years or so - defenders are so much better and being just a clogger doesn't really work.... the Swedes went to sleep twice. And it cost them. Hugely. That doesn't detract from that you still have to be there to score them, BUT he should never have had a chance to get into that space for a clear header for the first one and the man on the post was emabrrassingly bad for the second....
