If the Yanks want Champions League at all costs, which I'm sure they do as CL = CASH, then why would they pick Martinez? He's hardly some tactical genius is he? van Gaal has won leagues with formations like 2-3-2-3! Martinez MIGHT have us playing 'attractive football' but I doubt he'd get us top four within two years.

If Van Gaal really has thrown his hat in the ring it's a no fking brainer. Get him bought!
