Engage the brain. Go on, I dare ya! Think back into the mists of time, when certain nappy-wearing types were complaining because someone called Dalglish 'Dogleash'? Do you remember it? It was not I that complained about it. Nope. Not me. What I did say was that if you guys are going to get all upset about calling Dalglish 'Dogleash' then all other manager nicknames should be taken issue with.
Remember it now? Right, you can disengage the brain again.
I certainly moaned about it and still think it is totally out of order after everything Dalglish has done over the years. Remember it now? Right, you can disengage the brain again.
For non LFC fans - fair enough, but it just seems wrong for an LFC fan to call him that.

Whatmfking mayhem have I caused? Some other idiot says something about me in a post, and you get fking irritated because I responded? Grow the fk up. There is a reason this is the thread of shame, and it is mainly because 50% of you Liverpool fans are whiny little babies who complain at the slightest thing, and your post is indicative of it. You don't moan because Paul mentioned me, thus dragging me into the thread. Oh no, because that would mean moaning about your kin. You only whine when I respond with, let's face it, something entirely without even a vague smell of troll of WUM about it. No, instead, you start your fking moaning.
You talk about infidels, but from where I am sitting, it seems you guys are more than happy to dish it out on other threads, but anyone comes in here and either takes the piss, or says something vaguely criticizing, the toys are flung, and the Cold war begins. Get over it and grow the fk up.
Carry on.

Just had a 600km trip to and from Sofia, in the rain, and needed a st for the last 150km's, and of you saw half the shotters here, you'd be grumpy too!Uhura fighter said:
Seems like a 'step dpwn', of you know what I mean. From managing an entire company in that field, to a single entity. Still, shows how seriously Fenway are taking it, I suppose.norfolkscooby said:
Jesus. Martinez. Hello relegation battles. FSG really haven't got a clue. Win percentage of 27% as a manager...
Win percentage only really makes a difference if you have the players to make that difference. Would Benitez, Ferguson, et al have any better if they were managing Wigans, or anyone else of that level, in the premiership? Raja said:
I remember them days well. Dogst Dogleash was a favourite of mine although Hollywood Haggis ran it a close second. I do remember someone behind me at a game referring to our 20 million tomorrow man as Horrendouson, I liked that.
Wonder what I can do with Martinez
Raja tha Manc was my fave but I don't think you came up with it Wonder what I can do with Martinez
Should we be going for a manager with no experience beyond relegation battles???
Yeah, sure, Wigan played some ice stuff as did Swansea under Martinez and he may turn out to be a top manager but can we afford to allow him to cut his top level teeth with us??
Our goal next season has to be top 4 - surely we need a more experienced head???

And how much did he have to spend?
Exactly. And even IF he had loadsa cash to splash how many players of any real 'substance' would want to go there?Sadly a team like Wigan will always be shopping in the bargain basement and so hovering around the relegation zone.
No disrespect Tom.
