That's an interview with a chap who hasn't been at the club for three years and was sacked by our previous owners.

For the reds, does anyone think the manager appointment will come after we have a DoF? Wouldn't this be the best way to to do things considering we don't have any one other than coaches at present?

I don't understand modern soccer like I do football frown

No DoF I think. Ayres said recently that they weren't going to make a direct replacement for Comolli and that role would be handled among a number of different people.

Liverpool may have lost their status as a "big club" on the pitch (arguably), but they're still big off it: http://www.fcbusiness.co.uk/news/article/newsitem=...

I'd be surprised.

Was it not reported that Harry's Mrs won't move from the south coast?

Besides, why would he move down the league table? hehe

Sky reporter "'Arry, are you looking forward to next season"

'Arry leans out of range rover window "I've always loved Liverpool, triffic club"

Sky reporter "you'll be hoping to add a few more faces over the summer, will you?"

'Arry "triffic supporters too, our Jamie loved it, great fans."

Sky reporter "have you any targets in mind for spurs"

'Arry "it's the wrong time for me but it's an honour to be linked with such a triffic club as Liverpool."

Back to the studio......Redknapp linked as Liverpool boss.......

On the one hand I think Moyes would be a really good choice - very determined character, won't take st from anyone and has had Everton consistently punching above their weight with a transfer budget of 50p. My worry is that other than winning league 1 with PNE, he's never been in charge of a club challenging for top honours and hasn't had to deal with the pressures that come with managing a club like United.

I'd have him back. Lively but unfortunate debut, followed by injury and trying a bit hard. Undoubtedly a creative talent.

After last season, I'd LOVE to have both Cole and Aquilani back. It will feel like free, new players!

Another day, another headline, another name for the press to pull from the hat and write about.

It's annoying how these journalists can be in a paying job just plucking names from thin air. I've just skimmed that article but nowhere in the article is a quote from a Liverpool spokesmen saying Van Gaal is in line or even considered for a job with anything to do with our club and yet they title the article, Van Gaal in line for a job at Liverpool FC.
Bell ends.
