The amusing thing is I only put that there because any mention and he shows up within 30s to defend his indignation. Childish perhaps, but amusing nonetheless.

There was discussion around the Dogleish/Woy thing, but going further back we've been told that Woy is disrespectful by plenty of the WUMs, that is what I was referencing. Fantastic display of indignation though! smile

A pisstake? That would be like callong Dalglish 'Dogleash', and signing off with YAWN, rather than YNWA? Regardless, I think he was going on about 10p's use of Woy, not my use of different login names, that was what I responded to.

YAWN.

FFS! can't we just have one day were we talk about the team and manager selection and give the petty squabbles a rest, it's getting boring now.
Blame Paul. He cited me, I responded.
Jesus H Christ, really, 'he started it waaaaaaaa waaaaaaaa'

It's annoying when infidels on this thread cause mayhem then moan about it, ironic as half the time the arguments are caused by them which they then use class this as the thread of shame

Not sure, but I think this is the topic for discussing LFC, so if anyone's interested:

'The Jolly Todger' is already used by someone else, unfortunately.

That would have suited you quite well.

I'm still hoping Martinez is a smokescreen hehe

Would rather Brendan and give him time.

Rogers has already ruled himself out though hasn't he? It would be interesting to know if he was actually approached before he said that...

It would be interesting as i cant imagine many have been formally approached, perhaps his reaction was just a reaction to the press speculation, who knows?

One thing that may be working against Liverpool finding a new manager may in fact be the fans themselves.

Young and/or managers new to top level management such as De Boer or Rodgers will be aware of the disproportionate effect the fans have at Liverpool in maintaining good will and (localised at least) support of the club.

Evidence of the effect is with the difference between Hodgson and Dalglish. Both had similar league form with the club, yet one was hounded out whereas the other received patience.

If I were in a position where my ability as a top level manager would be defined by my term at Liverpool, I would be very wary of the additional pressure from the fans of the club. For someone like Rodgers, this would be my precise worry.

Liverpool is certainly unique in the Premier League, in the influence and voracity they hold at the club, almost as if they have an emotional ownership over it.

More codswallop. What you could say is we wont fk off and start another club like FC United or start wearing the colours of Norwich......
