Nice one - Bowen's 20th goal of the season!!!
And he’ll still probably only get 5 or 10 minutes here and there at the Euros…

Not bothering today, gave my tickets away.
Still at least we might get back to talking about matches rather than being told careful what wish for by those those that simply don’t get it,or someone dissecting a few financials and getting it wrong. I couldn’t be arsed to reply.. I just told the source at the club that kindly checked Bens research they was wrong and someone on the net was right.
That was me I think - knowing us, we’d bin Moyes and end up with Mourinho.
No not you,it’s fans of other clubs on here !

I don't think he'll be picked - which suits WH.

If he doesn’t go then Southgate can’t possibly says with a straight face that he picks based on form.

We rode our luck today imo. Areola was terrific.

I know I’m biased but wasn’t that impressed with the few again today, harsh not to give that corner at the end.

Wasn’t going to go today but as it was a Saturday kickoff, trains were decent and I’d get back home at a decent time, gave it a go. Amazing how a Sat game and a half decent result lifts you. I’m half thinking of renewing the season ticket now, new manager and more Saturday games next year hopefully.

Liverpool fans grumbling about the referee stopping the game when Areola was injured:-

I think the ref's just made up a new rule. Goalies can put the ball down in open play and have immunity from the opposition trying to nick the ball. What a load of cobblers.

That’s unlike Liverpool fans. They usually take things like that so well.

None of us are trying to use that as an excuse for being st today.

But the ref didn’t blow for a foul or stop play for treatment,
So when the Areola rolled the ball out it was in play, so why did the ref wait till Gakpo attacked the loose ball to blow the whistle ?

Maybe it’ll be explained on MOTD.

And let’s be honest the way we are at the moment he would have rounded the goalie and missed the net anyway.

Funny one for me today. There was a couple sat in front of me (right by the half way line Billy Bonds Stand). Very unremarkable until Liverpool scored and they celebrated the goal so clearly away fans. Some WH fans around me called the stewards to get them removed.

Nothing happened at that time then Liverpool scored again and the couple wisely stayed silent. After a while the stewards turned up and asked the couple to leave. I think they noticed that the man had a Liverpool shirt under his coat.

He really shouldn’t have worn that shirt in a home fans area but nonetheless it seemed harsh to me. All they’d done is celebrate an away goal.
