I guess in their minds the season isn't over - and I know not all the 'week-in/week-out' fans will be at the Cardiff home game but most will be and likewise, dare I say it, the Wembley match so it's unfinished business... Fair enough, but the stadium announcer made such a bloody big deal about it every 30 secs at the end we got the impression it would be worth waiting for! I thought that it was a bit odd that they were bothering with a lap especially with our last home game being next week; which they must've known by then. Did many people wait to see them? No, I reckon 90% had gone by the time they eventually came out. Most of the time the players were talking to each other rather than looking at the fans.It was embarrasing, would have been far better as suggested if they hadn't bothered 'til next Monday.

Got both my tickets for the play-offs, extremely nervous but as sjc said, I'd do another season in the Championship. I'd said earlier in the season that it was nice going to games expecting to win as opposed to worrying about getting turned over but i would still like to see us at the top table next season.

Tend to agree; been a change seeing some wins this season - although I've not seen that many as I've missed a couple of home wins & been to loads of the draws.
Not sure that I want another season in the champ but I also don't want to get badly spanked by cittee/utd - although we can rely on ipswich for that. Might've had a chance to beat the scousers this season though which would've been good.
Still need to book my home tickets, I'll do that later today.

Not long to go now. Looks like pretty full squad to choose from tonight; although assume it'll be much the same as the last couple of away games w/ cole up front.
Reckon it'll be tight but got a decent result last time we played them so hopefully take something back to UP for the monday game.
C'mon You Irons!

On my way over to Upminster now to watch with some friends and family, I have a feeling it'll be 2-1 to us.

I need you to win - lots of good friends who are WH, I have an irrational hate for Welsh people, and the Prem needs WH in it.
Looking good so far though!
Just worries me your home 'form' could kick in for the 2nd leg. You need to be 3 up for me to be confident of having our traditional weekend with both sets of mates up at the SoL next season.

Had to give my ticket up last minute as my work decided I need to be on site at 7am tomorrow but glad to see the boys doing a sound job. We look much stronger than Cardiff. Just wish Cole had got that header in and I'd be planning my day out at Wembley already!!

Halfway there, first goal vital on Monday. Never seen Green so animated at the end of a match gesturing to the Cardiff fans, I assume he took some real abuse. He looked a bit off at times tonight. Best I've seen Cole all season, held the ball up really well, and for once used his strength, good control and quick feet for a change. Demel got over his error from Saturday and looked really composed, and from the team you can't ask for more in effort or the result.

Enjoyed that (unlike the hangover this morning) looked good throughout & as above Cole played really well. Pity no hatrick for Jack but good to see him taking longer range shots (and scoring); something that we've not been good at this season. Bring on the second half

As above I see that the cardiff manager was using our potential to f k things up as his main response to their being s te yesterday. Playing like we did yesterday we'll be fine.

Guys, irrespective of what division we end up in next season, me and my son have probably been enough times this year to think about season ticket. Is there still a facility to sell your seats if you can't get to the game

Yep, there's a ticket exchange - I have only used it once this season as I usually find someone to take my ticket if I can't go.

Looks like a full squad to choose from today so assume it'll be a mostly similar team to Thursday's. Looking forward to it.

No mention on website of preferential times for buying Wembley tickets for fans who have tickets for todays game or the Hull game, only season ticket holders and paying Academy members.Looks like I'll be involevd in a desperate free-for-all come 9am Monday if we make it,assumimg that is,that A: we make it and B: there's any left. Gutted.
