G807 RGU my Citroen AX GT, bought it brand new two weeks before my 19th birthday, was a fantastic little machine and for what I got in trade in for it 6 years later, wish I had just kept it, served me well for 5 1/2 years and nearly 110k ... black and very very nice ... and for a normally aspirated 1.4, was fantastically quick

Spookily enough my stepfather moved from Ford averly to dunton research and design centre and the escort twin cam was his first project he actually helped design it.

I'm still looking for another Jetta, looking at a mint white 1.3 on ebay as a project start.
I had a mint diamond white Escort RS turbo S2 back in '95. It was stunning, and was never driven in rain. Someone offered my 3k for it... so i sold it. Immediately regretted it.
I used to see it occasionally out and about. Now considering it was in showroom mint condition, the last time i saw it the rear bumper had a huge split in it, it was filthy, and for God knows what reason the rear seats & boot was covered in straw!! It was a mess. I felt really guilty about it, still do. Sorry F79 TEL.
Recently sold my EO Focus ST-3. Again it was pampered and never went out in rain. Only put a few thousand on it - then sold it as i got itchy feet for something else. Got that 'something else' a TVR 450 SEAC... just wish i'd kept the ST. I really liked it.
Oh well..

I loved my S2. Cost peanuts to run, sounded fantastic and was plenty fast enough for normal road use. Sold it for a Chimaera which cost me a fortune to run and was no where near as fun to drive!

Sold my Mini ERA Turbo about 5 years ago to buy a house. Only about 81 cars stayed in the UK and of that lot probably only about 30- 40 cars now on the road. It was a very original car in very good condition having just had 6K spent on the engine and gearbox alone. Sold it for 6K and it got exported to Belgium. Im now looking to buy another and it is nigh on impossible to find anything close to the same condition. Poor cars seem to be fetching 8K

My Audi Coupe 20V - sold it as I needed more space for the dogs, immediately regretted it as it was such a lovely, well-sorted old car, and an Isuzu Trooper wasn't as much fun somehow.
Six years later my old Audi turned up on Ebay, so I bought it back from the same guy I sold it to. It has aged pretty well, bit of rust on the edges of the front wings and it could do with a suspension overhaul, but it's nice to have it back in the family.
