nagsheadwarrior said: Possibly 2 lucky escapes, missed out in the Alfa by £2.00 which is good as on a proper read of the description the stiff gearbox sounds dubious and I think a 3.0 auto lusso plus is the one for me. 2nd escape is being out bid on the wonderful creation linked to below, I actually would love to own it but I couldnt really keep it on the road and at 4.0m plus tall it wouldnt fit in my storage place! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320917739331?ssPageName=...What's in the background of the 5th picture? Looks really weird.

And at your local car auction for less than half that! Note: Do take brave pills. Other purchasing outlets available.

Note: Do take brave pills. Other purchasing outlets available. Note to self: Must go along to a car auction sometime soon. Preferably not with wallet though. ETA Having a look on BCA. Wonder what the 186k 840 goes for.

It CAPs, believe it or not, at £2825. It is Grade 4 and has had a bit of paint but nothing terrible for the age, 21 stamps in the book too.

- Remove V12 badges from front spoiler and bootlid.
- Strip the tarts' toe nail polish from the calipers
- Remove those godawful 'zorsts.
- Fit standard headrests.
Then you'd have an appealing '50 instead of a blatant drugbus.

Then you'd have an appealing '50 instead of a blatant drugbus. Spot on. I like it, but all the little details add-up to make it look a bit council.

I do happen to have the space although no need whatsoever. The car looks great, perhaps if it was a '35 or '40.
