I can't beat 1800 but my 1951 Healey has 68000, I think this is probably genuine, it was parked up for 40 years before I got it.

My mother has a 2005 Volkswagen Polo that's just gone over to 8,000 miles today. She's had it since new and has never kept a car for so long, even though she's never actually liked it that much. She doesn't drive as much now as she used to because she's working from home so can't justify, or really afford, to change it. When she broke her arm and didn't drive it at all it needed its starter motor changing as the lack of use had caused it to seize up.

My 1979 Golf has done 40800 miles.

According to the service history, it had done 20,021 in 1981.

No, if it was clocked there'd be big scratches above the mileometer where they've forcibly removed the instrument binnacle.

Dad has a Volvo 240 estate (245 actually) with 11k, 1976.

He's waiting for his current 240 to die before be puts it into service tho. I'm 35 and it's the only model of car he's ever driven that I can remember, when I was born he had a triumph 2500 estate, which he kept and is currently being restored.

My '63 Riley 1.5 has done 62,157 miles; my '65 1.5 has possibly done less as it's been off the road since sometime in the 1980s.

My Countach was registered in January 1990 and has about 4500 miles on it. Only 2000 on it when I bought it in 2007 so I've put more miles on it than the 2 previous owners combined eek

My other cars have also got very low mileages for their years, but none as low as the Lambo.

So in lets say 5 1/2 years you've done 2500 miles in it. That works out at 37 miles a month on average.

My mum bought a J reg Renault 5 Campus in 2002 and it had done 1,500 miles. The old boy had driven it once a week, without fail, down the road for his weekly shop, then back home again.

It was scrapped on about 3,500 miles in 2007 after the brakes failed.

And your point is? I didn't say I have done a lot of miles, only that I have done more than the previous owners, this thread is about low mileage cars after all.
