Volvo S60 D5 with only 35k miles on the clock and an impeccable MOT history.
Yes, it is a little overpriced, but it is lovely and will last another 2 decades.

Omg I want this badly!! Volcano black with the red stripe looks so cool, and ZX had a great chassis.bearman68 said:

1.9 Volcano has got to be very, very rare these days. I'm with you - much want for it!
ZX 1.9 is my daily driver. (it is a diesel though) Still remarkably rot free for a 1996 car.
They were really good cars in all flavours and even the trusty diesels aren't exactly common anymore

Yeah, very rare to see one now. I did see a turbo diesel estate about 8 months ago, but nothing since. They were really good cars in all flavours and even the trusty diesels aren't exactly common anymore
Still not allowed to join the local classic car club though (but that I think is more to do with my face than the car TBH).

Aren't these GTs supposed to be a good steer ? Apparently can make good track day cars too due to multilink suspension (I think ?) and low and or close ratio gearing (I think?)

The P10 had the multi link rear suspension, unfortunately they cheapened it to a beam axle on the P11. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/11582159...

Thanks. I never knew that and always liked the P11 and the colours they came in.Edited by carinaman on Sunday 28th April 09:54

I think, considering the mileage, how long it will last you, and the fact that this era of Volvo are built like tanks, I'd say it's a good place to invest £5k.https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1712243

No idea whether this was a good era of Ford/Fiesta but looks quite smart (haven't checked MOT).

The Zetec-S was a great car , looked the part and bundles of fun to drive . That particular car seems to be a replica based on a gutless 1.3.https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/95907549...
