Not Z4 but another BMW
I run 17 inch steels in the winter
and 18 inch alloys in the summer

Much prefer the 17’s from a ride comfort perspective, the square set up is a nicer balance and generally when I put the 18’s back on I miss the 17’s for several weeks
In the winter when I go from 18’s to 17’s I think why don’t I run these all year round……
There’s a certain honestly about those steelies. I bet they weigh less than alloys, and are easier to repair too.I run 17 inch steels in the winter

I don't really like MV2s, but those "daisies" are horrible!
108s look good but usually not for too long, and a proper refurb can soon get expensive as the rims need splitting.
107s are a bit different and while CSL Reps look good they are everywhere!
When I wanted to part with the 108s from my Z4 before they got too tired I bought a set of 18" staggered Style 295s from an E89.

They are feather light compared to the 18'sI hit a pothole last novemeber and one rim still has a flat spot - I beat it straight so it doesn't lose air but they need another powder coat

Wheels are subjective obviously, but those look terrible to me - not a good style and 2 inches diameter too big…108s look good but usually not for too long, and a proper refurb can soon get expensive as the rims need splitting.
