to Elle .... seen you on the occasional thread and absolutely love the Venturi (saw a few at Le Mans in the early 90s ... Jacques Laffite?) which is kinda related to the Alpine
The link being the PRV engine
Have a bit of a soft spot for the Renault Alpine, but my personal favourite has to be the Berlinette

Good taste

An uncle had one of these for restoration many MANY years back (well, 80s). It went from a disgusting yellow to one of the most beautiful deep shades of red that I've ever seen (with some gold flakes in the top coat to add some shine). He took me out for a blast down the M55 in it once it was up and running. I must have been in my early teens, and I absolutely adored it.Utterly stunning.
But unloved as a whole, because people just don't know about them.

I hope you're right. I've just bought one of these, a commemoratve, one of the last 50 prduced.
I thought they were.Wasn't one of those being touted around 90K last year? Was in Octane IIRC.
Has the guy that built it still got it or did he sell it?

We stopped to investigate aparently the front end was lifting at those speeds that it gave him some brown trouser ""moments"".
