Can't do photos at work, so if someone could find a pic I'd be grateful.

At the lesser end of the scale Alfa Montreal.
Thanks,

Am appalled at myself for passing on one of these 7 years ago.

The shame.........

1. The Lamborghini Jalpa.

I love these cars, and in my dream garage it would sit alongside an 80's Aston Vantage. It's another one of those cars that I dream about, and I could look at all day long. In my eyes it is just perfect.

Not everyone agrees though, and it's not the most celebrated Lambo made. For that reason alone I thought it deserved a PH discussion smile
whats funny about that is looking in the classifieds there are two of these for sale, both of which are apparatly the last RHD car made! hehe
What makes me really laugh is the fact they are both the same colour, both the same interior, both the same wheels, similar mileage and both are from the same price.

What are the odds of that? wink

Damn fine car. I would love one, also on for a Testarossa. But I don't think that is unloved. I thought everyone loved them?
And 3 years apart wink

(ones got a spoiler too!)

I was watching a programme on the telly on monday about classics ant the Montreal was on, Autocar's own Steve Cropley and Richard Bremner both had a lob on over the Montreal and the Citroen SM.

Well I couldn't have the Bug 110 as that's been done so:

AM Virage Vantage S600 - hand built old-skool V8, twin superchargers, 600bhp and 550 lb/ft.... in 1998...!

I remember one of the reviews at the time referring to it as a "nuclear powered arm chair"!

Brutal beauty, last of the Great British GTs IMHO, and oh god I want one.

Mosler MT900

Ascari A1

Both are by all reports perfectly good supercars and a great fun to drive but neither really has that usp of fastest round top gear track or most powerful, highest top speed etc that most others try to go for. They are probably better cars for it, but also ignored/forgotten because of it.

blasphemey! These are by no means unloved!!!! The M1 is an epic car and a huge icon. That and the soon to follow M5 that harbours the same criminally good 3.5ltr twin cam I6 with 286bhp! Back to the M1, Italian design, but due to Lambo being USELESS in business (but luckily very good in the design department) built by GERMAN engineers and underpinned entirely with german engineering makes it THE perfect classic supercar in my eyes! I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT! :-D

As for the M1, I love them too, but were they loved by the masses?

My dad was on the design team too. I would rather have one of these than Macca but they only made three and I've never seen one for sale.
