There's a YouTuber who's lost just shy of £80k in just over two years, including an £11.5k hit last month alone.....car's worth £40500 and he owes over £77k on finance OUCH!!! I think it’s because Porsche view it as the OPC’s problem right now. Everyone saw this coming it seems except the OPC’s who managed to get their used inventory’s at record levels just as the market went in to reverse.For those in the know (customers comparing alternatives etc) the Taycan is currently a very expensive option and a luxury that ever fewer people can afford or really need.
Of course there will always be some sales but how long will the current stock take to clear ?
Admittedly that is not why they have so many new cars but it shows that OPC’s need to take some responsibility too.

Well I am trying to but a Taycan ST (nearly new) and while discounts look good against rrp (as per latest price rise), most dealers aren't blinking yet and don't seem that keen to haggle down much from advertised price. The best deals are on nearly new Turbos - but still bloody expensive as most are very highly specced with stuff I don't need. There is a 30k spread between trade and retail on many Taycans based on my calls this week.

I must say Mid Sussex OPC were a pleasure to deal with, I have never driven a Taycan before driving it out of the dealership, it is an absolutely lovely car to drive, I’m so glad I bought it and it’s an absolute weapon when you want it to be.
So money were my mouth is I bought one lol.
So I did the deal on a new Taycan Sport Torismo GTS.
List was £123,430.00 and I paid £106,400.00 so £17k off the list price.

For me the only reason I cancelled my CT order.If they did 5.9% I’d be back in the dealer revisiting the car - now they are dropping to around £80k (v new) again for me it’s the best performance for Porsche buck I have experienced.
I did the Porsche Exp Centre and was blown away (but that car had the heater failure).
I’m in a 1 year old Macan at the moment but one other issue may be the cost of insurance now.
I only pay £600 a year for my insurance.
I have a Mini EV and it charges every night and is warm and ready to go each morning - quick car and zippy.
It’s a superb car.
Back into Taycan - come on Porsche let’s do a better APR! Every other main manufacturer is doing that.

I’d be interested to know what they will sell your Macan GTS for. Im guessing that was a £85-£95k car so it’s taken a bit of a hit. I was offered £46500 against retail cost of £70k on mine and for me that was a kick in the nuts.
I’m guessing Macan sell much better than Taycan right now.

The interior isn't "GTS" which will put some off (it would me. Especially the silver trims).

No 2+1 seats (showstopper for me).

Agree on the spec but I think there'll be plenty more in the not too distant future I like silver, but not sure how popular it is.
