What is it that you want to be able to do with the phone and stereo? The reason I ask is you could easily mount a stereo in the side pod say. Then a combination of the remote stereo display from another doner a Unlink changer control or similar and a stalk remote control might be a clean solution

The phone will be both too small and too low down to use 'safely'.
The din unit is too large unless you do a full consol running down into the footwell and back to the rear bulkhead.
The mimic system looks like it would do all you need. I've not looked at the spec but cannot believe they would not have included a remote mic facility.
Why not just hide the A/C controls under the dash...they are nothing to look at and only you need to use them so they do not need to be on view.
From a syling point of view, and I don't claim to be a stylist in any shape or form, IMHO you should have a full front to back centre consol or nothing at all. The current drop down just looks wrong which I suspect is why you are struggling with it.

As always Clive good work, I'm with SteveD stick them under the dash, your limited on flat surface space any how, and hiding then away should save you having to put bars on for the SVA test. Unless you think they will help to the design and feel of the cockpit. Re the centre section yes to the left and right molds, sorry. I would much rather the sat nav screen was angled to the driver like bmw do I like a more flat centre console and gear shift and not the angled units like porsche seem to be installing. A little cubby hole behind the handbrake to put sunglasses and polo. Or even dare I say it even a cup holder I quite like the look of this one, it curves inside to meet the gear shift. http://princecars.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/w...

Well after a long weekend and many revisions I have a basic shape that I'm happy with, there's plenty of work still needed to blend all of the surfaces but the functionality is fine...

I assume the top will be leather and below the line carpet. In which case you may want to mould in a slot below the line so your trimmer can sew the leather to the carpet then loose the sewn edge into the slot.

Well I'm still in Florida at present on hols . Been to the "Turkey Rod Run" at the Daytona oval 3 days of car show madness there was over 4500 cars beats any uk car show I've ever been to and it's a really friendly place and the night time cruise up and down the beach front strip is just a blast. If you ever want to go and take the kids to Disney then fly on the 24 November take in 3days at Daytona first as after that the parks are nearly empty as the locals are back to school so no waiting for the rides either.... Only update on car is that I have my 6 pot calipers now

No gone for a after market 6 Pot road caliper for my car, just worked out nicely and got a good deal on them, I have another set if anyone's interested, identical to a AP unit even uses AP Pads... Still using the Z06 as the Std caliper just these are a little lighter and the same price almost.

Do you want me to check it out or did you leave "THE DEMON DOG" at the house to keep the lowlife scum robbers company. (I pity them if you did.)
