Ooooh nice!!!!!!!!!

Nice subtle rear arch mods, along with 17's, thay wont be staying on, probabably go for somthing a lot more practical.

Kit price finalised at £5500 plus the engine and car so all in all not a bad deal.
Thay have just advised me that thay are now doing Ford Duratec motors brand new from manufacturer with ecu as an option too.

Lovely car and proabably faster than a fast thing, but why did you paint the rollcage/subframe blue?

It would have looked a lot better in black or charcoal grey IMO.

Is there a vaccum line running through the car for servo assistance on the brakes?

Apart from that spot on!

Cheers,

Steve

I assume there's some sort of firewall yet to be installed between the driver and the engine?

Where's the air intake for the engine and is the rad still up front?

Yep its having an laser cut ally firewall installed to cut you off from the engine. Air intake possibly could go to side window through a specially made duct or for an extra bit of coolness i had the idea of routing it to the old fuel filler hole.
Radiator is installed in stock position up front along with fan.

Those hub carriers are a mightily impressive bit of design! Any reason to having the razy curvy tubes other than they look sexy?

What are the attachments between the cage and the existing shell ? It appears to pick up the seatbelt mounts via 3mm plate to the front and 1 1/2" spacers to the rear, have a largely decorative side impact beam forwards, and bolt to the edge of the floorpan. yikes

Is there, in fact, more to it than that ?

Lovin' this!

I know you've said the brakes will be uprated but what spec of brakes are you actually going for?

There are 14 points that the cage attaches to the shell in total. It doesnt just use the seatbelt mounts at the front and at the rear of the shell to attach, incidently those points at the rear are reinforced if you look carefully, it mounts directly to the floor pan as well as using factory locations.

I will post some pictures up of the locations when i can get to the car again.

Excellent, thanks. My earlier post came over a lot more suspicious than I intended - "Where does it attach other than the locations that are obvious from those pics ?" would've been far more appropriate

The rear end is designed to compensate for the weight/power delivery at the rear.
