Three NZV8 magazines with your car inside are in the post today Andy, hopefully they will be with you in a few days time! My return address is inside if you ever have a spare "big fat b d" sized RV3 T-shirt going spare! Cheers, Kevin

Cheers Andy, It was the issue before last with the article I wrote back in Feb, the "this month in NZV8" I emailed you a while back. I'm sure you will be getting some more press in the future though, even if it's just a mention of the 6.99@218mph, but the 6.50@230 will be sure to rate more than just a mention!! You just have to get out and do it!!! XXXL works for me! Kevin

forgive me if this has already been covered.
I see mention of a couple of american cars being quicker.
What tracks were these times set on, obviously you aren't comparing apples with apples with different tracks, and there is a constant suggestion that certain american tracks are 'faster' than others (ie slightly downhill)
do you think that the 'quicker' cars would be truly quicker on the same day at the same track as RV3?

Forgive me if I'm wrong or speaking out of turn but if you're talking about the street legal pro-mods that have run faster quarters than RV3 then I think the feeling amongst the RV team is that all going to plan RV3 will better their times this year anyway (even on a 'slow' track).

But nowhere near so much adrenaline!

do you think that the 'quicker' cars would be truly quicker on the same day at the same track as RV3? Well, they have quicker timing tickets and that's what counts in the record stakes. I've raced on one american track in 2005,and we went faster than we'd done here..

Those were the days of traction control. I saw an F1 at the pod once,i think Mark Blundell's old car. Ran a blistering 10sec 1/4.
