That's EXACTLY how I park on an end spot. Lots and lots of room for doors to open for the car parked on the left.
...and for the people parked perpendicularly across from you to reverse in to your doors.
Three inches won't make any difference when there is invariably a marked EndOfLane area, then a two way 'road' between you and the perpendicularly parked cars. You'd have to be blind to reverse into an RS in that situation, whereas clumsy dheads can open doors without thinking anywhere.

The Clubsport package was deleted according to the description, so it also has leather rather than nomex seats and shouldn't have a roll cage either if that were correct (though curiously harnesses are in the picture)... It is telling that someone bought this car and never drove it though, so apparently not a collector, not driving it, ... looks like PGB sold one of the precious allocation to a speculator there frown

Arctic silver is my favorite all-time. It's nice and bright in the sunlight and you can never ever go wrong with it. Timeless. I like black as well. No matter what the color, wheels must be gloss black.

I think I can see part of the roll cage behind the passenger seat in that photo?

This one has the roll cage but no harnesses

of the twenty eight UK supplied cars, three are currently on the market for sale and at least another five have been sold/traded over the past few months - well down Porsche GB, brilliant job at keeping out the speculators....

The only thing Porsche did wrong with this car was to sell it too cheap.

If they had sold it for what the market thinks its worth in the first place, it wouldn't have attracted so many speculators or have convinced some people who might have originally bought it to keep for a long time to move it on so quickly. I know if I had bought on and was sitting on a potential cash windfall of £50-70,000 I'd be shifting it out the door faster than you can say Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0l

Anyway, what is wrong with speculators?

nothing wrong at all with speculators at all, thats how the market works, good luck to any owner who takes a small premium, it's just PGB announced at the time that they had a selection process to 'weed out speculators' which clearly hasn't worked. it's fine they built 600 cars, which is hardly a limited production run compared with the 3.8, but so few were allocated to the UK, where there were many more buyers than cars and which was in the past one of the biggest markets for the GT3. that policy i'm afraid doesn't make any sense to me and i think it's a slap in the face to those who went without and goes to show how little sway PGB holds with head office. i would have loved to have got a 4.0 RS new, they have at the very least alienatated me a serial Porsche buyer with their policy.
