Does any one know if the the grey trim line which runs the length of the dash is easy to remove?

I'd like to paint it if possible.

not to worry, all done and down at the paint shop. Hopefully re-fit tomorrow.

So, how easy and how much is the painting costing. I'd like to do mine in Guards Red to match the exterior colour if not excessive.

Easy, you'll need a 4mm Allen key. The trim around the steering wheel and centre I managed to prise out by hand. The cupholder section needs to be unscrewed by opening the glovebox and locating the two screws. Keep the cup holder closed for this.
When removed carefully by hand again prise the grey trim away from the unit by the hinge side first. Very important remove by hinge side! A small screw driver could help but I found it not needed.
Here's mine. Sorry taken on phone.

I'd say that looks rather smart thumbup

Brightens up a rather dull Teutonic interior (not having a go, I like Porsches smile )

Cheers, I totally agree. Brightens it up a treat. I think I'll leave it at that though, easy to get carried away and spoil it.
