As I said in 9 hours will will see, it's harder to call as it now has had a £6k spend on the car which boosts confidence in the car also being though an OPC.

The car stands the seller at £73,200.

So to answer your question , yes it was over bid on and the seller won't get his money back imho, one sale don't make the market.

I will be happy to carry on the chat when we see the sale price tonight and it will be interesting your aggressive "to me" take on it then.
Don't imagine the seller will expect his money back, he's had a ball owning a legend and will expect to pay for that.

I'll go previous hammer price plus half of the spend mentioned in the ad (plus the CC fee on top of course)

he's done 2k miles in a Covid 2020 where no events are on and travel is all but banned if £10k for that use is having a ball I am missing out ;-)

so you are going £66.5k plus fee's then.

I am watching this now just as I have nothing better to do and I like how they add another 2 minutes on if a last minute bid comes in.

So is there a limit to the number of 'extra times' then. The last extra time it just flashed red for the whole two minutes - was like watching a Mission Impossible bomb detonator countdown scene.

Won by f12tdf

Noticed he asked a strategic question with 15 minutes to go ‘has it been tracked seems very chippy’, trying to put off other players. biggrin

Close guesses!

so £68,116 after fees.

Not sure what that makes of the 60,000 miler comfort at £54,060, or the 160,000 miler CS at £50,880

£51,145 for the 160

However, I love it, unashamedly used, will be used some more and I don't have to worry about miles or stone chips...

Fantastic thing, dry as a bone underneath, maintained by Fearnsport expertly and a very nicely sorted car...

Couldn't be happier!

Suspect I'll add a LWFW at some point and maybe PASM DSC but thats so far it.. doesn't want for anything.

Poppopbangbang (regular forum contributor, particularly Porsche) works in historic F1 cars, company called Tour De Force.

I may be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 9

Oh I see no clue who it is but you know there's a Ferrari called an F12tdF right?
