They havent even taken any of their own photos, or written their own blurb! I am not sure they appreciate how painfully obvious it is rofl

I (and I'm sure, the rest of us) appreciate that as a business they took the risk on the auction, and are within their rights to make money. But at least pretend to have put some effort in yourself!

Sounds too good to be true? I've looked on PH & AT, do you have a link please,

Probably a different, non RS car with a body kit to fool those with little understanding of air cooled cars? smile
the 997.1 CS I was on about which is changing owners pretty fast and been on CC twice now, now again back for sale.

€130k build + donor car....

That was one expensive project!

If I'd spotted that, I would have been bidding......dammit!

Absolute bargain for a sorted car.

Has anyone here any experience selling a car via CC that could add their thoughts? Was there any negotiation in reserve price, were you happy with the result etc...

Yes not a Porsche though, very slick operation, modest charge for pro photographs (paid to the photographer direct so CC not trying to make a margin) several calls during the later part of the auction from CC, slightly under reserve (lifted at my choice) but result more than satisfactory.

Very simple transaction for me. Couldn't fault the CC people. Had some long discussion about the reserve which I set higher than their starting point. The price for mine was ok, although I was perhaps a tad disappointed. But if it had been 2k higher I would have been delighted. So I decided that given the ease of selling it was all in all a great thing to do. No regrets!

Thanks for your feedback guys. Great to hear respected members here having positive reports. The likes of Bonhams and Sotheby's are well established. Do you know if CC have any kind of global reach?

I suspect they do with the affiliation with Chris Harris and they have had cars from the Middle East and Europe - albeit from the supercar thread their is some dubious service history on some of these vehicles.

Also noticed that they launched an Australia site to presumably tempt the Aussies to import desirable UK cars:

Surprised the Singer that's just gone for 690k hasn't been discussed. Came on here to see if there was a Collecting Cars thread to see it was shut down in Supercar chat.

996 CSR by RPM Technik, currently at £26k, no reserve.

I'd have thought spending £27k on the CSR conversion would get you an engine rebuild but it seems not. That's a lot of money for an aero kit, Fuchs and some bolt on suspension parts.

Indeed....but it looks like it would be a great car for someone to buy and then get some fettling done to the engine.
