macan stock seem to be growing as well. not sure why they arent sending german stock to usa. according to unrepentant they are crying out for them. if they are having issues with customs there perhaps they can stick a south american in them to get them through customs, as apparently they arent having a problem getting in to us.Cheib said:

seems to be the way forward for a number of manufacturers atm. i was told jaguar have loads of ipace sat around atm and are selling at more that 15k loss on what it cost them to build to move them.CanAm said:

you can filter the listed new car stock on interior colour, and they're 80% dull, dull, resale dull

The 992 has indeed jumped in price - when I started dreaming of a new 911 a few years ago I thought it might cost £100k, it wound up costing £119k for a very lightly specced Carrera S. The thing is EVERYTHING has jumped up significantly. Remember when you could buy a new McLaren for £140k? Or a Vantage for £120k? These days it’s £82k for an M3!!!G-996 said:

But the current M3 is slightly older M5 size and power. And the spec is somewhat different to the poverty spec base E46.
If you want a fairer comparison then look at the M2 (which is still bigger, more powerful albeit heavier than the E46).
That will be far less than £75k and have a comparatively much better spec. In conclusion M3 size M cars have actually got cheaper.

Funny you should say that. A new 992 GTS I had my eye on has jumped from £137k yesterday to £141,900 today. 
Had a meaningful chat with OPC yesterday. There are modest deals to be had on advertised prices of 992 GTS (including those already discounted) but with the 992.2 not due until the end of the year, there's currently no appetite to push stock out of the door at any price.
Personally, I think that will have to change at some point, let's see.

I've not driven it so can't confirm.
