LOL, she's way too savvy to be leaving anything like that lying around.

That looks a very sensible proposition and being sold with a reasonable description. If it cost you £10k to repair (which I doubt) it would still be saving you £20,000.

If it is the car that's been suggested, the only reason it was written off was due to the hire car charges that would have been incurred if put into Porsche for repair (some parts were on back order). So effectively it could have suffered less damage than a similar car that has been repaired by an insurance company with no record of the damage (bet there's a few of those around). Certainly looks like there's been no big impact to it anywhere.

IF the car is fairly simple to repair and If he took an offer I reckon you would have a bargain.

At least you understood the history.

Did the lady in question buy another?

This car was Victoria (jessica Wabbits) old GT2. Wrote off due to high, hire car charges.
She actually bought a 2004/mark II Polar Silver GT2, with all the exterior carbon bits, pcm and comfort interior................

The Paragon GT2, in Rain forest Green was bought and currently owned by another lady...Not for sale any more.

If this is the car, how does:
"NO FRONTAL DAMAGE ONLY NEEDS WING BUMPER DRIVERS DOOR TO REPAIR QUARTER MIGHT REPAIR "
square with new PCCBs and "through a wall"?

I can see the front bumper is missing suggesting frontal damage...

However, if I was in the market for a GT2 I'd buy this one (assuming it's JW's) with a 10-15k repair budget...

How would one fix that quarter panel though?

Pretty sure it is hers - just checked the old thread and she referred to hers as "Gobbie" - as per the number plate on this car, ending in GOB.

It will probably need a new rear wing (as in the panel behind the door, not the spoiler!) which will be a little involved but at least it looks like it should go straight on (as in there is no distortion to where it is fitted).

Let's hope it gets bought by someone who repairs it properly and makes it the car it should be again.

Spoke with Andy, could be looking at 15k to 20k to get it put right, the front near side hub was ripped clean off and there was no pics of underneath the motor. could be looking at a lot more, rear quarter would defo need replaced plus a few other parts here & there. Remember any Cat D loses 40% value, I think the way they mention "WOULD MAKE IDEAL TRACK DAY CAR" is very accurate. If you buy this to repair and sell on I wouldn't touch it!

You may be right with most of what you say, but definitely not on the 40% less for a Cat D. For example, a couple of years I sold a 2 year old GT3 for £10k less as a Cat D (£46k when all similar cars were making £55k) and I bet I sold it quicker (2 weeks) than those selling the straight ones, so differences are nothing like 40%.
