glad you`ve got this off the ground Baz, do you have to be a sporting bears member to put your name down to offer rides? and are the rides on track or on road or both.

HI Clive, great to see you are interested in this as your car would be absolutely stunning there. You dont have to be a member, I wasnt when I did the Dream Rides at the NEC, I will warn you though that once you have done one if you are like me you will be hooked, its such a rewarding thing to do and I soon parted with my £20 annual membership fee :-) The Dream Rides will be on the open road on a 10 mile course around the circuit and the passenger laps are on the track. Give me a shout at work if you want and i can talk you through it, sometimes easier than forums and emails :-) be great to catch up. PS i have had no reply from the TVROC, nudge, nudge

hi Baz, I`ve put a post up on the tvr car club events forum, and tvr events on here to get a bit of attention. the club may take a while to respond with meetings ect perhaps? I`ll definately be there, and will get a few tvr mates along anyway, I was a member of sporting bears a few years ago, but unfortunatley all the events at that time were up north, so didn`t renew it. I`ll be up for giving rides on the road, say for the afternoon if required, possibly on track if I can get it quiet enough but not sure on that yet  will give you a call monday.

Ta muchly. Looking forward to it. TBH I dont think it will get under the DB limit at Goodwood, although I have just knocked 8-9db out of it by making and fitting an airbox. We shall see!

baz, the db limit of 98 static is measured at 3m? is this not normally 1m to half a meter?
