Well I had an excellent time. Parked easily (with a lowered RWD car) and got out easily. For £15 per head this show is fantastic value for money (even better value when I had booked my tickets in advance for £12 each), and I think the work put into it by Jay and the team really shows, so well done all. I love the quirky nature of the show and the fact that it is not as commercialised as Goodwood type events. Where else would you go and have Stig walk past you whilst eating your picnic! Opening early definitely sorted out any queue issues as well

A brilliant day out. No queues at all, even as we rolled up at 11am via Netherhampton Road, and the PH parking was perfectly fine for my (admittedly 4wd) 996 turbo. Even my 1 year old wasn't too bored being wheeled around in his buggy :-)

a very good event and beautiful house and estate. some magnificent cars out... quite a few sussex, surrey cars that i seem to see at every event! the road down from London is pretty dull though so I prefer the run down to goodwood but thats all about Geography. i parked in the piston heads bit, turned out to be nice and close to the action. I was staggered at the blue Diablo which was parked up the hill on the grass. I dont know how on earth he got it in and out without damaging the front spoiler. yeah the track to the parking was not suitable for low front spoilers, glad that i no longer have such a low front end to worry about as on my old 996 turbo as Im sure it wouldnt have made itwithout scratching. sone said: Yip my CS had grass in the door reveals where I'd closed the doors on grass tufts. More annoyingly I paid extra for this VIP parking.

Winner was the yellow Ferrari 512 - I want to say 127.7 from memory. Chris' enzo was 126.6

Cheers Did chuckle a little when the Gallardo owner was just beaten by the R8 straight at the start as i'm sure he thought he was a shoe-in for the win. Laughed a lot harder though at the kids standing right behind a Merci and when it revved they got practically blown backwards with their hats almost coming off

Yes you're right - it was a different measuring device and many cars read slightly less than they did last year (whether air pressure/temperature was enough to affect that too, I don't know), however we used the same measuring device for every car so they were all relative to one another yesterday.

What a great event fair play to the owner of that fantastic place! No problems getting in or out always said my monaro looks better covered in mud lol! Cant wait till next year already ill be there rain or shine!

Another great day!! Well done guys and girls! Been umming and arring all week about going due to the weather. Drive down from Oxford was very wet but so glad we stuck it out as it turned out glorious.
Fantastic cars, although swallowing the fumes of the FF in the revoff made us feel a bit dizzy!
Best bit was my son 'driving' a Gallardo, SLS and XKRS. He's 3.
Amazed by the lack of queuing too as last year was around an hour. Arrived at 11 and got straight in.
Parking not a problem in the Accord although the guy parking next to us in his Aston had a strange smell coming from his clutch by the time he'd reversed in!

Even better than last year, was so pleased that the sun came out. Was following a Caterham Superlight on the way down and the heavens opened, felt sorry for the guy as I sat in the comfort of my impreza. Couldnt fault anything about the day. One question though, who is Cedric as he had a great selection of cars?!

We were trying to work out how cedric got all his cars there does he own a low loader aswell !!! :-) great day Im going to get myself some quicksilver exhausts !!!!

Not sure about the VIP complaints really, I know other car parking was advertised but (without speaking out of turn) I am sure it was decided best to not open it up as it was pretty water logged after the huge amount of bad weather in the run up. If you took advantage of the other aspects eg the grounds and house (£14 on its own) I do feel it was worth it. The inside of the house was stunning and the staff inside were very helpful and informative. Add this to the stunning array of exotica and other items on display this year I feel you cant go wrong. My own personal opinion of course.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, a great day out with my wife and son seeing some pretty rare things, only downside was when I got 'pinged' to do the Lynx commentary 15 mins before with no script! Public speaking aint my thing lol.
All said and in respect of others comments it was a great day and already looking forward to next year which if the form continues I have no doubt will be even bigger.
PS it's not easy at all organising something of this scale so hats off to all.

Forgot to add that it was the first time I've seen a helicopter fly upside down Loved the start of the commentary when it looked like the helicopter wasn't coming back :-)

With respect I had to park my car in foot long clumps of grass on ground an off roader would have been more suitable on not a ferrari,I paid an extra £36.00 over the standard price for my wife and I to park my car safely and perhaps save waiting in a few queues to get lunch and perhaps have somewhere to sit down.. All of which failed. We did intend to look around the house but when we arrived to get in the house was closed from 11 until 3pm which seemed strange. Don't get me wrong beautiful grounds fantastic cars but I shouldn't have paid a premium rate for a standard service.
